Kim Miller
I created this blog today because a family friend of ours is sick. Kim, if you read this I just want you to know that we are praying for you constantly. My mom and I decided we are going to do at least one rosary a day for you. Your attitude is truly inspiring. We know you can beat this!
I read on your blog that you are nervous as to what to tell your kids about your hair loss due to chemo. My cousin had breast cancer and had to do chemo. She has two kids and was worried about the same thing so she decided to make a game out of it and let them help her shave her head. They actually had fun doing it so it made a scary thing into a fun thing for them. It is just a suggestion. I know that shaving all of your hair off would be quite intimidating.
We will keep praying for you and we are going to try to be at whatever fund raiser your family decides to do as long as it won't make anyone uncomfortable. I will talk to Kathy about that :)
It is definitely going to be a long, hard fight but if anyone can do it, it is you! You are such a strong, beautiful woman and I know you can make it through this. Please let me know if there is anything we can do to help or support you.
